Silver clay is a material that converts to pure silver when it is fired in a kiln to a temperature of 1650F. I oxidize my pieces after firing to produce a ‘distressed’ look, but this can be made more shiny with further polishing. These interesting Dalmatian jasper beads are contrasted with black obsidian beads and silver beads. The silver clay centerpiece is embossed with a delicate leaf pattern.
